Kforce has a client in Monterry, DE that is seeking a Linux Administrator II (Nearshore Mexico). Summary: The Linux Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and supporting enterprise Linux environments, ensuring system reliability, performance, and security across the infrastructure. This role handles complex technical incidents, system maintenance activities, software updates, and operational improvements while adhering to established IT governance and best practices. The position partners with end users and technical teams to resolve escalated issues, optimize system functionality, and support ongoing infrastructure initiatives.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in Linux Server administration and Administrating
- Strong understanding of Linux Server OS, Redhat/Suse
- Proficiency with shell scripting (Bash) and familiarity with Python or Perl
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, IP management, DNS, and load balancers
- Familiarity with containerization technologies and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects efficiently

Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
