Job description
Sr. Staff Software Engineer, AUMOVIO Systems, Inc., Auburn Hills, MI: Analyze and support discussions regarding customer software and security requirements to ensure completeness and feasibility, defining internal system, software and security requirements using tools like DOORs, JIRA. Design secure and scalable architectures for enterprise applications, systems, and network environments. Develop secure software components in C for 16/32-bit microcontrollers, applying secure coding standards and embedding security best practices throughout the development lifecycle. Define, automate, and execute test plans and conduct root cause analysis for general Software and security issues. Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure test processes to align test processes with standards, using tools like oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply, emulators, and protocol analyzers. Adhere to defined process quality like ASPICE by performing static code analysis compliance checks, and different levels of Software testing. Provide security support to system testing teams by offering insights derived from architecture design and security principles. Contribute with the quote team in the quoting and proposal process for new projects by analyzing OEM requirements, reviewing features provided by suppliers, estimating the effort required for security implementation, and presentation to the customers. Lead and represent a project for Security and topics.
Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering or a related field and 5 years of related, progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in:

Developing Automotive Electronic Products such as Vehicle Passive Access and Start Control Modules, Vehicle Smart Digital Access Control Modules, KeyFOBs, Body Control Modules, Rear View Systems, Surround View Systems, Engine Control Unit, Vehicle Security Master ECU, Seat Control Units, Window Lifter, or Telematics Control Units;

8 - 32-bit microcontrollers;

Embedded C programming;

Working with CAN logging tools such as Vector CANoe and Vector CANalyzer;

Embedded development tools (emulators and analyzers) such as Lauterbach TRACE32, iSystem BlueBox (WInIDEA), SEGGER Jlink, Renesas E2 and Infineon MiniProg; and

Software configuration management tools and version control tools such as GitHub, SVN, IMS, Jira, DOORS, ReqM2, and Rhapsody.
Must have 3 years of experience in:
- AUTOSAR embedded projects, with Autosar security stack, KeyManagement, Public Key Infrastructure, Hardware Security Module and Secure Hardware Extension;
- Cryptography operations including Secure SW Update, Secure Boot, OTA, Secure diagnosis, and Secure communication;
- Applying ASPICE base practices in projects;
- Security and Privacy architecture, design, implementation and testing for automotive systems; and
- Projects using security standards such as ISO/SAE 21434, ISO/SAE 14229, UNECE, RFC 5280 and RFC 6960.
