Job description
Design, develop, and deliver scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot. Lead end-to-end engineering efforts from requirements analysis through deployment. Develop new microservices and enhance existing enterprise applications. Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services. Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation processes. Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best engineering practices. Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and modern architectural patterns.
Requirements
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java Microservices development to join a dynamic engineering team at Client's. The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of hands-on software development experience, a passion for modern engineering practices, and the ability to independently drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. This role requires strong technical leadership, deep backend development expertise, and a commitment to building high-quality microservices solutions in an Agile environment., 10-12 years of experience in software development. Strong proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot microservices development.
Extensive experience with: Java (8+) J2EE JUnit REST & SOAP Web Services Hands-on experience with Kafka (Mandatory). Experience working with Kubernetes. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Jira (Mandatory).
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools: GitHub Jenkins Urban Code Deploy Harness Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience leading technical design and delivery initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications: Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.). Exposure to React.js. Experience with modern architecture and engineering best practices.
