SECRET - Data & Analytics Engineer

A Space manufacturing company in the Yorba Linda, CA area is seeking 2 Data & Analytics Engineers to support a yearlong assignment for their test and security test program. These resources will be responsible for supporting multiple builds at a time and executing on the data extracted by the team using MATLAB, Python, and SQL. Other responsibilities include:

• Develop, maintain, and debug scripts and tools in Python and MATLAB
• Troubleshoot and resolve software, script, and data processing issues in existing workflows
• Perform data extraction, querying, cleansing, and analysis using SQL
• Conduct advanced data analysis and modeling using MATLAB
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI
• Translate technical and business requirements into analytical solutions and automated workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, program, and operations teams
• Document code, analysis methods, troubleshooting processes, and results
• Support data-driven decision-making through clear reporting and presentation of findings

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Data science or other related degrees)

• 5+ years in Python scripting and debugging
• 5+ years in leveraging SQL and MATLAB for querying and data analysis
• Experience developing dashboards using Power BI
• Experience supporting government programs or highly regulated engineering environments
• Active Secret security clearance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Master's degree in Engineering
• Defense or Aerospace program experience
• Experience in Automation and leveraging AI tools
