Job description
You will be the Aeronautical Engineer for the Advanced Development Programs - Skunk Works which is responsible for designing and integrating next-generation weapon systems.
What You Will Be Doing: As the Aeronautical Engineer you will be responsible for driving the integration and design synthesis of Special Mission programs while collaborating across a multi-disciplinary team.
Your responsibilities will include: Help lead integration and design synthesis across aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, thermodynamics, electronics, controls, and actuation. Support and conduct multi-disciplinary system trade studies to optimize performance and cost. Coordinate with fabrication, assembly, MRB, quality, and supply-chain teams to ensure smooth production operations. Generate and present technical and administrative materials for customers and internal stakeholders. Mentor early-career engineers and champion One-LM culture across cross-functional teams.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or above Degree in an Engineering Discipline
- 10+ years of experience in airframe structure design and analysis
- 10+ years of experience with metallic and composite design
- 10+ years of experience with CATIA V5 and or 3DX
Desired skills :
- Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Experience working with LM BAs
- Experience interacting with suppliers, external customers and Production Operation
- MRB coordination and support
- Experience with hand stress analysis
- Experience with hypersonic boost-glide systems
