Job description
The V&V Engineer will be an integral part of the product test team, supporting a software product that features an adaptive therapy for a precision medical device. This role involves supporting all software updates for a device that stores data for creating patient plans, generating reports, and is primarily built in Java, focusing on user interface testing. Test cases are pre-written, hence the role will be concentrated on executing these tests. Testing will be continuous until October, after which the focus will shift to formal execution., * Execute pre-written test cases for a precision medical device software.
- Support software updates by testing user interfaces built in Java.
- Collaborate with the product test team to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance., Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI): We may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support parts of our hiring process, including sourcing, screening, and evaluating candidates. Requirements
- Proficiency in software testing, verification, and validation.
- Experience in quality assurance and software quality assurance processes.
- Ability to develop and design test cases, as well as write requirements.
- Experience with hardware and software test plans.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in creating and editing test plans.
- 3+ years of experience in test execution.
- 3+ years of experience with Java applications.
- 3+ years of experience in isolating issues and problem-solving.
Benefits & conditions
This is a Contract position based out of Madison, WI. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $49.00/hr.
