Job description
- As a Technical Support Specialist within the Global Enterprise Customer Care (WGECC) team, will provide premier support to our enterprise customers.
- Will serve as the face of the company, troubleshooting network issues, maintaining network devices, and acting as a strong customer advocate to ensure timely, best-in-class resolutions., * Provide front-line technical support and troubleshooting for customer network issues.
- Perform circuit testing, manage SD-WAN routing, and maintain devices within customer networks.
- Monitor ticket queues and escalate unresolved issues to ensure SLA compliance.
- Document all customer interactions accurately using provided ticketing toolsets.
- Mentor less-experienced team members.
- Maintain strict user, customer, and departmental confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
- Experience: 3 to 5 years working in a Network Operations Center (NOC) environment.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain a Government Confidential Security Clearance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Technical Experience: Proven background in networking technologies (e.g., SDWAN, routing, switching, and wireless) as well as circuit testing.
- Language: Fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, team-centric, and customer-focused with a strong sense of urgency., * Degree in Information Technology (IT).
- Active industry certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA or Juniper JNCIA).
- Previous experience in a service provider or IT service desk environment.
- Familiarity with ITIL methodology and ticketing software.
