Serve as the Chief Engineer and Solutions Architect for Government Contract

Lead and manage technical architecture, design, and systems engineering processes

Ensure software solutions align to Government Requirements (Concept to Delivery)

Provide strategic guidance and technical leadership to multi-disciplinary engineering team o Across System Development Lifecycle § Requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing

Oversee/participate in architecture review process o Make strategic decisions that support: § Customer needs § Long-term business objectives/goals

Collaborate with all stakeholders to define requirements and scope

Manage program and project technical data deliverables

Provide support for software systems that are critical to solving our greatest challenges

Develop and maintain: o System architecture models o Engineering processes o Integration Strategies o Optimization of performance o Compliance with federal standards and regulations

Oversee risk management activities: o Identify potential system vulnerabilities o Implement mitigation strategies o Align solutions to cybersecurity frameworks
-
Support PMs and Business Development: o Define technical solutions for proposal development o Support budget estimations
Requirements
-
BS in Computer Science, Engineering (or Similar)
-
10+ years of technically relevant experience
-
5+ years in a Senior Leadership Role in DoD (prefer Army)

Experience Leading, Designing, Implementing Solutions for: o Tactical Networks/Communications (preferred) o System of Systems Integration o Software Systems Lifecycle Management o Architecture Design

System Engineering Tools: o Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) o Systems Modeling Language (SysML) o Unified Modeling Language (UML)

Knowledge / Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks

Experience with cloud technologies

Familiarity with DevSecOps processes and Agile Methodologies
