  • Perform manual, exploratory, and automated testing where appropriate
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex application issues across multiple systems
  • Expand automation coverage while improving reliability and maintainability of existing test suites
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, PI Planning activities, and cross-functional team collaboration
  • Support testing efforts across Unit, Integration, Acceptance, Regression, System, UAT, Security, and Performance testing initiatives

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or Automation Engineering experience
  • Strong experience with Playwright (top priority)
  • Experience with Reqnroll or SpecFlow and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks
  • Experience with RestSharp and API automation testing
  • Experience testing backend services, APIs, integrations, and event-driven processes
  • Strong coding experience within a .NET/C# environment
  • Exposure to GenAI technologies and practical use cases within software development or testing
  • Experience working in Agile development teams
  • Experience debugging complex technical issues and identifying root causes
  • Ability to quickly learn and support complex business applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter who can operate independently and drive work forward

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working with Jira
  • Experience with AWS or cloud-based environments
  • Background in SaaS, insurance, underwriting, healthcare, or regulated industries
  • Advanced degree or continued technical education
