IT Admin II - Security Governance

• Strong understanding of security frameworks and programs, NIST, ISO, CMMC, and others.
• Familiarity with regulations like HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and NYDFS
• Understanding concepts of risk tolerance, likelihood of exploit, impact, and residual risk
• Strong analysis and writing skills, with the ability to write internal policy, standards, and procedures
• Supporting internal and external audit teams and activities
• Adept at converting technical risks into business friendly and digestible communications
• Pragmatic approach, ensuring policies and controls align with business needs and risk tolerance
• Knowledge of basic cloud, network, and system architectures, informing policy choices
• Ability to communicate clearly, providing accurate and concise communications to IT leaders
• Comfort with data manipulation, reporting, metrics collection, trend identification
• Participate in on-call rotation

An IT Administrator II implements and maintains enterprise infrastructure, networks, systems, platforms and overall security posture. The person in this role will have a strong level of configuration experience in their technology domain. This role is responsible for implementing moderate to high-risk changes to critical functional areas while following established designs and configurations.
