- Strong understanding of security frameworks and programs, NIST, ISO, CMMC, and others.
- Familiarity with regulations like HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and NYDFS
- Understanding concepts of risk tolerance, likelihood of exploit, impact, and residual risk
- Strong analysis and writing skills, with the ability to write internal policy, standards, and procedures
- Supporting internal and external audit teams and activities
- Adept at converting technical risks into business friendly and digestible communications
- Pragmatic approach, ensuring policies and controls align with business needs and risk tolerance
- Knowledge of basic cloud, network, and system architectures, informing policy choices
- Ability to communicate clearly, providing accurate and concise communications to IT leaders
- Comfort with data manipulation, reporting, metrics collection, trend identification
- Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements
An IT Administrator II implements and maintains enterprise infrastructure, networks, systems, platforms and overall security posture. The person in this role will have a strong level of configuration experience in their technology domain. This role is responsible for implementing moderate to high-risk changes to critical functional areas while following established designs and configurations. To be successful, strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Must be able to work in a dynamic team environment where business needs drive priority and outcomes., * Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; and 3-5 years of experience as an IT Administrator in infrastructure or similar role, or an equivalent combination
- Experience supporting enterprise level security governance programs
- Familiarity with tools that map controls against multiple frameworks
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- CompTia Security+ or equivalent
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
