Job description

This is a unique opportunity to grow your technical skills while contributing to projects that matter. You'll work alongside engineers and mentors in a collaborative, cross-functional environment that values learning, innovation and purpose. From building intuitive AI web interfaces to writing Python for geoprocessing tools and AI agents, you'll be exposed to the full development lifecycle and cutting-edge GIS solutions., * Build server-side Java components and web services to power user experience and geospatial workflows

  • Prototype, design, develop, and deliver complete software features and products that can scale, are fault tolerant, and handle concurrent workloads
  • Design, architect, and build complete software features/products to meet customer requirements
  • Find, analyze, and fix bugs/performance problems whenever and wherever they occur
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to understand requirements and incorporate them into the software
  • Mentor and groom junior engineers through design and code reviews, technology presentations, and insights

Requirements

  • One (1) year of experience in the job offered, or one (1) year of experience in a related occupation
  • Demonstrated experience in Java, REST, Python, Security/AWS, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Maven
  • Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Engineering, GIS, or a related field

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $137,000 - $140,000 USD
