Job description
- Analyze business requirements and define functional specifications for new PeopleSoft HCM functionality.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and user design meetings.
- Design functional architectures and business process models aligned with organizational objectives.
- Evaluate and improve HR business processes through process re-engineering initiatives.
- Configure, implement, and support PeopleSoft HCM modules and system enhancements.
- Map business processes to PeopleSoft functionality and recommend best-practice solutions.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design, develop, and implement system enhancements.
- Develop functional design documents, business requirements, use cases, process flows, and technical documentation.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational documentation.
- Develop PeopleSoft Queries and reports to support business reporting requirements.
- Write complex SQL DML and DQL scripts for data validation, reporting, and analysis.
- Define system integration requirements and ensure seamless data flow between applications.
- Coordinate project deliverables across cross-functional business and technical teams.
- Participate in application configuration, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and end-to-end testing.
- Review project deliverables for quality, completeness, and compliance with established standards.
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and coordinate timely resolution.

Requirements

Functional and technical experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 or higher.

Extensive experience implementing and supporting the following PeopleSoft HCM modules:

Human Resources

Compensation
-
Position Management

Performance Management (ePerformance), * Proven experience delivering full lifecycle PeopleSoft implementations, including requirements analysis, design, configuration, development support, testing, deployment, and production support.

Strong ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs.

Expertise in developing moderate to complex PeopleSoft Queries.

Experience writing complex SQL DML and DQL scripts.

Strong understanding of relational database design, data modeling, and database concepts.

Experience conducting business process analysis and process improvement initiatives.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Strong documentation and business writing abilities.

Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.

Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF).
- Experience supporting State Government or Public Sector projects.
- Experience with desktop and mobile software troubleshooting.
