We are partnering with a leading national provider in the residential solar, storage, and clean energy services industry to hire a Desktop-Provisioning Support Representative for their corporate offices in Lehi, UT. The role is central to ensuring new hires are set up for success from day one through efficient equipment provisioning and reliable technical support., The Desktop-Provisioning Support Representative will support corporate users at the Lehi offices, with primary responsibility for the provisioning process associated with corporate onboarding of new hires. This includes packaging, preparation, and shipping of equipment, as well as providing hands-on technical support across internal systems, hardware, and applications. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new systems and processes in a fast-paced environment., * Serve as the first point of contact for technical support to employees via calls, chat, email, and remote support.
- Support the ticketing request process for new equipment requests and receive returned equipment.
- Prepare, package, and ship equipment to new hires and existing employees as part of the provisioning process.
- Document and follow current processes for tracking provisioning activity.
- Communicate directly and effectively with a large and diverse audience.
- Clearly communicate and provide descriptions of issues and troubleshooting steps completed for escalation, review, and audit purposes.
- Ensure adherence to organizational security practices to protect and control company systems and data.
- Coordinate with internal support teams to minimize disruptions to business operations.
Requirements
- Desktop support (hardware) experience.
- Intermediate-level knowledge of troubleshooting fundamentals.
- Intermediate-level knowledge of current Windows operating systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- An interest and ability to learn new systems, technologies, and processes.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mobile device support or imaging experience.
- A+ Certification.
- Intermediate knowledge of Chrome OS and Mac OS.
- Basic knowledge of G-Suite in a corporate environment.
