- Maintain and promote a strong health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) culture for all employees, vendors, subcontractors, and customers to comply with HSEQ policies, procedures, regulations, and continual improvement objectives. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and risks with a commitment to correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe or nonconforming actions or conditions.
- Medium level understanding of Route, Switch, Wireless (including survey + optimization experience)
- Strong ability to provision, program, and configure switching equipment and devices
- Medium-High level understanding of VLAN, routed interfaces, and L2/L3 configuration
- Maintain day-to-day operations of corporate LAN/WAN, monitor and tune performance/availability
- Familiarity with cloud based and software defined networking and traffic management
- Support technical projects and initiatives, project lead for small sized implementation projects
- Troubleshoot and document issues, participate in root cause analysis for all network landscapes
- Evaluate current and emerging technologies, provide implementation recommendations
- Expierence with routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP, OSPF
- Act as point of escalation for Service Desk incidents and requests
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
An IT Administrator II implements and maintains enterprise infrastructure, networks, systems, platforms and overall security posture. The person in this role will have a strong level of configuration experience in their technology domain. This role is responsible for implementing moderate to high-risk changes to critical functional areas while following established designs and configurations. To be successful, strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Must be able to work in a dynamic team environment where business needs drive priority and outcomes., * Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; and 3-5 years of experience as an IT Administrator in infrastructure or similar role, or an equivalent combination
- Experience supporting enterprise level infrastructure hardware and systems
- Competence with network cabling standards, capabilities, and use cases, * Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or similar certification from other OEM's
- Experience with monitoring platforms, protocol analyzers, metrics and reporting
- Familiar with the deployment of VPN and IPSec tunnels, zero-trust experience a plus
