Job description

CACI is seeking a DevOps Systems Administrator to work with a focused team to engineer, build, deploy, and maintain multiple environments for developing, testing, and hosting custom websites and applications. The current hosting environment utilizes Windows Server within Amazon Web Services (AWS). We are looking for a seasoned, self-motivated Systems Administrator to join our technical support team. This position will be forward-deployed and integrated directly with the web development team. This role provides dedicated DevOps support to the web team while leveraging the bench strength and backup capabilities of the contract's broader technical support team.

  • : Contribute directly to application and database migration activities.
  • Automation: D evelop scripts for automation of build-out, maintenance, and configuration of virtualized systems.
  • Deploy updates, IAVA patches, and Anti-Virus updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and communications problems.
  • : Maintain web application hosting systems including web servers, database servers, and associated development systems (e.g., IIS, WordPress, RDS Database).
  • Utilize working knowledge or familiarity with Amazon Web Services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and ELB.
  • Maintain system reliability and uptime of production applications by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Contribute to system configuration management in accordance with contract inventory and customer requirements.
  • Create, update, and maintain technical documentation including process diagrams, standard operating procedures, and system documentation.

Requirements

  • OS/Web Server: Strong experience with Windows and IIS.
  • Cloud: Strong knowledge of administering servers in an AWS environment.
  • Core Soft Skills: Ability to manage multiple priority tasks.

Desired:

  • Containers: Deploying, managing, maintaining, and operating Windows container-based platform environments.
  • Windows OS: Experience with administering Windows Server, Active Directory and DNS.
  • Database & CMS: Experience administering and supporting databases such as MySQL, WordPress, and PHP.
  • Tools & Scripting: Familiarity with JIRA; knowledge of PKI, and Certificates; PowerShell Scripting.
  • Advanced Cloud: Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Systems administration.
  • Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect - Associate or AWS SysOps Administrator - Associate.

The proposed salary range for this position is: $86,600 - $181,800
