Job description

At Regeneron, we are looking for an outstanding Program Manager to implement IT projects for Preclinical Manufacturing & Process Development (PMPD). This role will work with PMPD stakeholders to perform robust project planning and execute upon that plan to completion, aligning to the project management of scope, time and cost.

When & where: This role is based at Tarrytown, NY location with a minimum of 4+ days onsite per week required this role is not open to fully remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Discover your role:

  • Lead large-scale projects with varying degrees of complexity
  • Lead small projects involving multiple project workstreams, acting as a single point of contact for those activities
  • Utilize agile methodologies such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solution of problems
  • Communicate with stakeholders on an ongoing basis; estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals; draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary; handle multiple projects as necessary
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools; track project milestones and deliverables; develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations
  • Act as the go-to-person and single point of contact for a specific process, product, function or system
  • Coordinate with IT and department managers to assess and track plans, status, etc. for timely delivery of critical projects and programs; this includes assisting teams and the project teams in removing impediments and resolving cross-team issues
  • Responsible for defining project objectives clearly and rally a team around the value delivery plan
  • Anticipating risks before they become issues

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree
  • Proven work experience in research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or scientific laboratory environment implementing IT systems
  • Expert user of a variety of technologies (Planview, Jira, MS tools, etc.) and processes (SDLC, PMO, etc.)
  • Must be open to travel periodically (~5%) to represent Regeneron as needed and for internal meetings
  • Previous project management in a Research organization is preferred.

Salary Range (annually) $114,800.00 - $187,400.00
