Job description
To deliver reliable, secure, and efficient technology services across the Overseas Military Banking Program. This handson role focuses on systems administration, modern workplace technologies, endpoint management, networking fundamentals, and responsive support for employees and infrastructure. Takes ownership of technical issues and projects, demonstrates strong initiative, and proactively identifies opportunities to improve service reliability and reduce technical debt. This role does not require management experience but does require the ability to independently lead technical workstreams and collaborate effectively across teams. Participation in an oncall rotation and occasional after-hours work is required., * Administer and support core infrastructure and cloud services, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID, and Azure
- Manage endpoint and device lifecycle processes using Intune and Autopilot, ensuring secure configuration, deployment, and maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex system, networking, and connectivity issues involving DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN/WLAN, and related technologies
- Provide responsive technical support to internal stakeholders; resolve issues independently and coordinate escalations while maintaining ownership through resolution
- Perform system maintenance activities including patching, monitoring, updates, and performance tuning to sustain system stability and security
- Execute assigned project tasks and lead defined technical workstreams, ensuring alignment with requirements, timelines, and quality expectations
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance system performance, reduce technical debt, and increase operational efficiency, including automation opportunities
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to support consistency, knowledge sharing, and operational continuity
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide occasional off-hours support to help ensure system availability and timely issue resolution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Typically, 3-6 years of relevant systems engineering or infrastructure support experience
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID, and Azure administration
- Working knowledge of Power Platform, including PowerApps and Power Automate
- Proficiency with endpoint management tools such as Intune and Autopilot
- Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and enterprise desktop environments; Linux experience preferred
- Foundational networking knowledge including DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN/WLAN, and MPLS
- Ability to analyze and resolve moderately complex technical issues independently with limited day-to-day guidance
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
