Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Security Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on safeguarding the future of intelligent, connected systems. In this pivotal role, you won't just be writing code; you'll be a cybersecurity architect, directly impacting the resilience and integrity of cutting-edge technology. You'll play a critical part in fortifying embedded controllers, vehicle networks, and the cloud services that power them, ensuring robust protection against evolving cyber threats and meeting stringent global regulatory demands. Your expertise will be instrumental in building trust and security into the very fabric of innovative products.

As a technical leader and security subject-matter expert, you will influence architecture, development practices, and risk decisions across multiple product lines. You will work closely with embedded software, electrical systems, and cloud platform teams to implement cryptographic security controls, driving innovation and securing the next generation of products., * Define and review security architectures for embedded systems, influencing the design of new features across embedded, cloud, and mobile platforms to meet critical security requirements.

  • Design sophisticated key management and access control mechanisms tailored for resource-constrained embedded environments.
  • Develop and implement novel security solutions to support autonomous functionalities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of comprehensive full-stack software development experience, with a strong emphasis on Python-based backend services.
  • Proficiency with Linux distributions.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying cryptographic security controls specifically for embedded systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience in the development of Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
  • Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including certificate lifecycle management and key protection.
  • Prior experience in a DevOps role.
  • Experience developing cloud-native applications.
