Job description

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team in a contract capacity. In this role, you will design and develop complex software solutions, lead technical initiatives, and leverage AI/ML capabilities to accelerate development cycles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance existing products and build high-performance, mission-critical systems., * Design & Development: Analyze, design, code, and perform component assembly testing for system tools and applications.

  • AI/ML Integration: Evaluate, utilize, and lead the implementation of AI/ML capabilities to optimize product modification and creation processes.
  • System Optimization: Ensure the delivery of high-volume, high-performance applications that meet strict availability and reliability standards.
  • Technical Collaboration: Partner with business and technical stakeholders to resolve feasibility issues and define requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Investigate new technologies and technical alternatives to foster an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Project Lifecycle: Own all phases of the development lifecycle, from gathering user requirements to deployment and post-release support.
  • Documentation: Translate user requirements into clear design specifications, interfaces, and system documentation.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in structured code reviews, conduct walkthroughs, and support rigorous testing protocols prior to deployment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a strong technical contributor capable of quickly acclimating to existing system architectures and infrastructures. You must thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be comfortable providing on-call support as needed., * J2EE application development, including front-end, back-end, and middle-tier components (Required 5 Years)

  • Experience with multiple design patterns (Required 3 Years)
  • Experience with third-party middleware tools incorporated into application design (Required 3 Years)
  • Webservices creation, consumption, and implementation (Required 3 Years)
  • Extensive knowledge of web and application servers (Required 5 Years)
  • Coding experience with Spring modules (Required 2 Years)
  • Web application development with Struts modules (Required 2 Years)
  • Web Services experience, top-down and bottom-up implementation with JAXWS (Required 2 Years)
  • Oracle SQL experience (Required 2 Years)
  • Application Server experience, JBOSS, Deployment Management, etc. (Desired 2 Years)
  • Scripting experience (with Shell, Groovy, etc.) (Desired 2 Years)
  • Solid working knowledge of Linux O/S and Shell scripting (Desired 2 Years)
  • Operational understanding of browser-based application infrastructure running in a clustered hardware environment (Desired 2 Years)
  • Working knowledge of a modern welfare eligibility case management system, preferably with hands-on experience with Idaho's Medicaid Eligibility auto (Desired 2 Years)
