Job description
- Defining the architecture, implementing, and integrating COTs products used to establish a Zero Trust Architecture
- Designing the interconnectivity of COTS products, including components, interfaces, and integrations with other systems
- Migrating legacy applications to a Zero Trust network architecture
- Choosing the correct technologies, platforms, and tools to meet the needs of a Zero Trust architecture as defined in the DoD ZT Execution Roadmap
- Providing guidance and support to the Zero Trust implementation team
- Ensuring applications meet security and regulatory requirements
- Identifying and resolving software issues
- Deploying, configuring, and maintaining various COTS products involved in a Zero Trust architecture
- Creating and maintaining documentation required for the design, implementation, deployment, and integration of a Zero Trust architecture

Requirements
This is a full-time direct hire position and you must currently have an active Secret Security Clearance or above. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship, 1099 status, or work with C2C for this role., * 6-8 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, in systems integration, application deployment, configuration, and maintenance
- Expertise deploying systems and applications in highly distributed systems
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical personnel
- Ability to work well in an environment where priorities shift depending on the needs of the mission
- Ability to earn trust and maintain positive professional relationships
- Proven time management skills and self-supervision
- A strong bias for automation, * Current Secret clearance
- DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification
- Experience implementing, configuring, integrating, and securing Zero Trust capabilities and the software that provides them, such as identity providers, multifactor authentication, privileged access management, unified entity management, inventory control systems, endpoint protection, SIEM/SOAR, software defined compute/networking/storage, etc.
- Experience integrating Zero Trust related technologies with applications, external services, and other security tools
- Experience implementing, configuring, and securing Zero Trust cyber security technologies
- Experience with one or more automation systems (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.)
- Experience with applications running on Windows, Linux, and in containerized environments
- Experience with on-premise and cloud deployment
- Experience with one or more containerization platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu, OpenShift, etc.)
- Familiarity with one or more programming languages (Python, Java, etc.)
- Experience with securing systems to DoD STIG requirements
- Knowledge of software acceptance testing process
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
- Experience with the DoD ATO process
- Experience with the DoD Zero Trust Architecture model
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related field

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $130,000.00 to $140,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
