Systems Analyst III - VMware Infrastructure

Southern Company Services is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst III to support enterprise virtualization infrastructure, including VMware, server hardware, and related technologies. This role is responsible for engineering, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting virtualization platforms in a 24x7x365 enterprise environment., * Engineer, deploy, and support VMware ESXi, vCenter, and enterprise server infrastructure.

• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, operating systems, and virtualization platforms.
• Provide second-level technical support for Windows and Linux environments.
• Perform hardware lifecycle management, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Support VMware technologies including vSAN, vROps, and NSX.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerCLI (preferred).
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience.
