Network Security Engineer

Our network provides the basis for the services of over 100,000 customers, reaching millions of users. As a Junior Network Security Engineer at Anexia, you will be part of the team responsible for operating and expanding the firewalls deployed in our network. Your main tasks include operation, configuration, documentation, troubleshooting, and daily communication and consulting with our customers. Since network security is a high priority for you, sharing this knowledge with customers is also important. You will work with the team on developing and improving the network architecture, and enjoy taking on the challenge of developing new security concepts.

• Completed technical education (apprenticeship, HTL, etc.) or relevant professional experience
• Basic network knowledge; terms like ACL, NAT, VPN, 2FA, and Next-Gen are familiar to you
• Knowledge of CLIs of firewalls/switches (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper) is preferred
• Your own scripts in Bash and/or Python make your daily work easier
• Familiarity with Linux system tools and common monitoring applications
• High willingness to learn, reliable, and accurate work approach
• Participation in on-call duties
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
