Job description
As a Senior IT Data Analyst, you will support a strategic multi-year transformation program focused on the re-engineering of the Life Data Warehouse and the gradual implementation of a Data Mesh architecture. You will work closely with project teams to analyze business data requirements, design robust data models, and contribute to enterprise data governance initiatives.
Build side:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into structured data and functional models.
- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for Data Warehouse and Data Mesh initiatives.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define data structures, governance rules, and integration requirements.
- Contribute to enterprise data management practices following DMBOK principles.
- Support the implementation of modern Azure-based data platforms using Databricks, Informatica, and SQL.
- Participate in the continuous evolution of data architecture and enterprise modelling standards.
Run side:
- Ensure the consistency, quality, and governance of enterprise data models.
- Perform data analysis, querying, and validation to support business and project needs.
- Maintain and improve documentation related to data models, governance, and project deliverables.
- Support project teams throughout the software development lifecycle by providing data analysis expertise.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure data solutions align with business and technical requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to data quality, governance, and modelling practices.
Requirements
You have at least 5 years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Modelling, or Data Management within complex enterprise environments.
You enjoy translating business requirements into robust data solutions and working on strategic data transformation initiatives using modern cloud technologies., * Microsoft Azure Data Platform

- Enterprise Data Architecture (preferred)
- Erwin or equivalent Data Modelling tools (preferred)
- Insurance processes (Life) (preferred)
Languages
English: Professional working proficiency (mandatory)
Dutch and/or French: Professional working proficiency (preferred depending on the project environment)
