Job description

In this role, you will work closely with technical teams, security specialists, business stakeholders, and development teams to support the delivery of reliable Azure environments. You will combine strong hands-on cloud engineering expertise with a proactive, transparent, and collaborative way of working.

What you'll do

As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable Microsoft Azure cloud solutions.
  • Support cloud-native applications and infrastructure-based implementations.
  • Build and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and Terraform.
  • Apply automation, version control, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Contribute to the management of Azure networking components, including Virtual Networks, Subnets, NSGs, Private Endpoints, Service Endpoints, Firewalls, Gateways, and Load Balancing.
  • Help ensure secure, optimized connectivity across hybrid and cloud-native environments.
  • Implement and support cloud security best practices, including Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, Zero Trust principles, and Azure Policy.
  • Monitor workloads, troubleshoot complex issues, and improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with security teams to support compliance and vulnerability remediation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of cloud operations and team maturity., In this role, you will help deliver robust, secure, and scalable Azure solutions, maintain high-quality reusable IaC assets, and enable smooth collaboration between IT, business, and development teams.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code, especially Bicep and Terraform.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud networking architecture.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with Azure Container Apps and containerized workloads.
  • Experience with Azure API Management.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools, including Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Azure Verified Modules.
  • Experience managing containers.
  • Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, or security-related certifications.
