Job description
At GMV, we continue to grow within the Space sector, and we are looking for a Software Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team developing innovative onboard systems and the ground-based tools used to operate and monitor them.
You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technological projects, contributing to software development, the definition and implementation of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environments, as well as the creation of verification and validation tools that ensure the quality and reliability of systems with a real impact on the space industry.
You will become part of a dynamic team where innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration are key to tackling the technological challenges of the future., Within our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to every stage of the development of innovative solutions for the space sector, taking on responsibilities such as:
- Designing and developing software integrated into established platforms and frameworks.
- Creating and deploying testing environments that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the solutions developed.
- Collaborating in the design, validation, and deployment of systems, helping to successfully bring solutions from the conceptual stage through to operational use., * Development of Java graphical user interfaces (GUIs), frameworks, and APIs.
- UML modeling tools.
- Development environments such as Eclipse or Visual Studio Code.
- Cybersecurity and secure software development practices.
- Communication systems and technologies.
- Embedded systems and hardware-software integration.
- Artificial Intelligence techniques and planning systems.
- Space systems and aerospace engineering methodologies.
- Robotic systems and automation technologies.
Requirements
We are looking for a passionate technology enthusiast who enjoys innovation and tackling complex challenges, and who can bring experience or knowledge in some of the following areas:
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of Maven for project management and build automation.
- Basic knowledge of C programming.
