Job description
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Xebia, you will join a dynamic DevOps Engineering team in a high-energy, collaborative environment. This role is suited for an experienced DevOps engineer who enjoys leading project planning, shaping architecture, and delivering modern, scalable solutions.
You will play a key role in designing, building, and supporting robust platforms, while helping drive automation, reliability, and security across the organisation., * Promote and foster a strong DevOps culture across engineering teams
- Design, build, and support scalable product platforms
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Develop and improve telemetry and monitoring systems to ensure high reliability
- Strengthen security practices and ensure protection of company data
- Manage system administration with a focus on stability, performance, security, and capacity planning
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and integrate them where appropriate
- Collaborate closely with management, senior engineers, QA, and product teams
- Provide strong operational support and effective incident troubleshooting
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise cloud architecture and design
- Strong hands-on experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher
- Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience integrating and working with AWS services including DynamoDB, Lambda, EC2, ECS, EKS, Kinesis, IAM, and Firehose
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure and deployment tooling such as Terraform, CDK, Spinnaker, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Python
- Strong experience with monitoring and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Datadog, and PagerDuty
- Solid scripting and automation skills using tools like Ansible, Puppet, and PowerShell
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments
- Good understanding of version control systems, especially Git
- Availability to cover rotating on-call shifts, paid separately from the salary., * Experience with additional cloud providers such as GCP or Azure
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases such as Redis and DynamoDB
- Experience working with storage solutions such as S3
- Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery architectures

- Salary Range: €70,000 - €80,000 gross per year, depending on experience, skills, and the outcome of the technical assessment process.
