Job description

Job summary: Are you interested in creating the future of e-com shipping? Do you want to be part of a team building the next $1bn initiative? Our team is changing the way we interact with customers around the globe and building a new, emerging business in shipping to solve some of the biggest logistical challenges facing not just Amazon, but the entire industry., * Lead operational programs for Amazon Shipping, partnering with AMZL/ATS operations and business teams

  • Monitor weekly First-mile qualitative and cost KPIs for reporting in SWA and AMZL WBR
  • Partner with AMZL/ATS/Commercial and Customer Support teams to improve processes and enhance performance
  • Own ops readiness documents to define problem statements and conduct impact assessments
  • Own launch, implementation, and scale-up before handing over to operations as BAU

Requirements

Amazon Shipping offers Amazon's logistics capabilities as a product and service. Its first customers are sellers in the UK, using our delivery network to ship their domestic volume. We are looking for an experienced leader to join the First Mile team. The role requires a self-starter comfortable supporting large, complex cross-functional programs, with strong program management, analytical skills, and effective communication., * Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business
  • Customer focus and professional demeanor
  • Organizational skill and operations mindset
  • Ability and interest in working in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment
  • Strong work ethic focused on exceeding expectations
  • Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to travel within the EU
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
  • Experience in MS Access and SQL
  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear, detailed requirement documents
