Job description

As our E-Commerce Executive, you will:

  • Manage, co-ordinate and update Dyson.com trading plan.
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day merchandising, execute promotional activities (promo, GWP, voucher…), optimize execution and ensure the maintenance of the website through our Content Management Systems, delivering a consistently premium customer experience on Dyson.com.
  • Build and optimize dedicated affiliations flash sales on dyson.com (eg: pages, voucher…)
  • Coordination with media team to push visibility and sellout
  • Stock management: working with the supply team to deal with stock movements and arrivals, opportunities, out of stock, ...
  • Manage forecasting activity for dyson.fr
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, central teams, amongst others, to ensure a proper merchandising and improve efficiencies, trade, and customer experience.
  • Perform daily website audits and health checks to find and fix any possible bugs appearing on existing pages to always ensure 100% accuracy, out of stock, fix 404s, price match and onsite search performance.
  • Identify and recommend merchandising optimizations based on analysis, customer insights, brand strategy, e-commerce targets and initiatives to achieve substantial uplifts in revenue, upselling/cross-selling, site conversion and average order value, improve user experience, and enhance product discovery and content.
  • Work with our owner experience team and central team to manage content on the website to address key owner tension points.
  • Part of the South EU team, you may be request to support other market on e-merch activities

Website and business analysis:

  • Monitor sell-out and website performance Dyson.com, supporting with Daily Trading meetings. (reporting on performance, spotting issues before they become problems, analysing previous campaigns and promotions and feeding into future plans)
  • Analysis of category performance to evaluate merchandising efforts and opportunities, product sell-out, and traffic quality; conducting deep dives were needed to better understand shopping behaviours and trends.

Requirements

To succeed in the role, we expect you to have:

  • You're passionate and have a basic understanding of all things digital and eCommerce.
  • Prior knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, AEM and Hybris would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Be capable of working in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment, with autonomy and flexibility.
  • You are able to break down a goal into manageable tasks and work efficiently to deadline.
  • You are a strong communicator, able to communicate technical issues using simple terminology.
  • Having a keen eye for fine details is a must.
  • You have a bias for action and get things done with a positive attitude.
  • You're comfortable working with colleagues and peers across countries, cultures, and different levels of seniority.
  • Fluent in English and excellent local grammar and spelling.
  • Adaptability: Navigate complexity, ambiguity, and change, influencing effectively within matrix structures.
  • Commercial Acumen: Extensive experience in sales, marketing, and e-commerce, preferably in premium products and e-retail.
  • Clear Communication: Articulate technical concepts in simple terms and possess strong attention to detail.
  • Action-Oriented: Drive results with a positive attitude and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
