Job description
INSEAD is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Business Transformation Office - Implementation Team. This is a full-time, 12 months contract position based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France. A hybrid working model is in place - 3 days on campus, 2 days from home., Reporting to the Senior Director Business Transformation Execution, you will be responsible for driving the global implementation of our HR Information System (HRIS) - Oracle HCM, in alignment with business objectives, agreed plan and budget. This will be a phase 2 implementation of multiple modules for HR, for e.g. talent, compensation and absences modules., * Together with Oracle, develop comprehensive project plans including objectives, milestones, deliverables and resources.
- Define project team composition and provide strong leadership to foster collaboration, motivation, and accountability among team members.
- Plan and organise meetings, agenda, minutes,
- Track deliverables, follow-up actions, resources and budget management.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks and dependencies, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Proactively address stakeholders' concerns, manage expectations and ask for feedback to drive consensus.
Change Management and Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to minimize resistance and facilitate smooth adoption of new processes, systems and organizations.
- Identify potential impacts and develop mitigation plans to address concerns and ensure successful transition.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating existing processes, identifying opportunities for optimization, implementing best practices, innovative solutions and lessons learnt.
Risk Management and Quality Assurance:
- Identify, assess and mitigate project risks.
- Develop contingency plans and escalation procedures to address unforeseen challenges and minimize disruption to project timelines and outcomes.
- Ensure high-quality delivery that meets stakeholders' expectations, business requirements and BTO's standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Certification in Project Management (e.g. ACP, PMP, PRINCE2) and Change Management preferred (e.g. Prosci)
- Proven experience (5-7 years) in Human Capital Management (HCM) software/platform implementation projects
- Track record of driving results in complex and dynamic environments
- Experience in HR Information System platform implementation (SAP, Oracle, Workday etc) highly desirable
- Experience in the higher education sector or industries undergoing significant transformation (e.g., technology, healthcare, finance) is a plus
- Skilled in Project and Change Management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), Project Management software (JIRA, MPP)
- Excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills including with Leaders
- Consistently deliver high-quality work and demonstrate reliability in performing their day-to-day responsibilities.
- Contribute to a collaborative culture, showing a willingness to work with others to achieve common objectives.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
