Job description

Providing hands on site for Network, Telephony and Windows related activities:

o Networking: Patching, VLAN issues, switch issues (faulty ports, port flapping, network loops, IP clashes), WIFI issues, faulty firewalls and faulty routers - basic troubleshooting under direction of IT teams

o Telephony: basic troubleshooting

o Windows: issues on PCs, printers, MFP's, scanners - basic troubleshooting

  • Audits & reports - checking what kit is on site, serial numbers, taking photos

  • Providing hands and eyes for IT team, liaising with them on all issues and assisting with network, infrastructure and server support

  • Knowledge of ticketing systems and their functionality

  • Elementary awareness of BIOS settings

  • Understanding of Internet access & network management (VLAN, VPN, WiFi)

Requirements

· Engineer skills - Desktop/end user support

· Language(s) spoken - French (very good standard) and English

· Soft skills

o Proactive communication

o Sense of responsibility and reporting

o Pro client-driven mindset orientation

o Be able to work alone

o Common sense and thinking outside of the box is very appreciated

o Ask before you act approach

Benefits & conditions

· Salary - based on your seniority & experience from 28 000 EUR to 33 000 EUR/annually/full-time + various opportunities depending on your profile & skills (included restaurant ticket participation and part of health insurance warranty)

· Contract - we offer direct employment with 7-months fixed contract, when everything will go smoothly on both sides, there is permanent contract prepared

· Timeline - we are flexible with your joining date

· Reporting manager - you will be reporting directly to our Country Manager in France, Remi Fournie
