PostNL is establishing a Data Center of Excellence (CoE) to strengthen enterprise-wide data management capabilities and ensure data is treated as a strategic asset. As part of this transformation, Enterprise Data Management (EDM) is driving the implementation of a federated data governance operating model, enabling business domains to take ownership of their data while ensuring consistent governance across the organization.

As a Data Management Consultant, you play a key role in translating strategy into practical implementation. You combine strong knowledge of data management disciplines with excellent consulting and facilitation skills to help business domains adopt new ways of working. Acting as a trusted advisor, you guide stakeholders in implementing pragmatic and sustainable data management practices that improve data quality, compliance, ownership and business value.

You work in the Data Center of Excellence (CoE) within the Data Foundations department. Your team focuses on strengthening data management across our organization. You collaborate closely with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Product Owners and IT teams. Together you build a strong data-driven organization and share knowledge and best practices., * We do a background check on all applicants. You are a strong consultant who knows how to connect people and turn strategy into action. You communicate clearly, work in a structured way and help others move forward.

You also have the following qualities:

• 3+ years of experience in data management, data governance or related fields.
• You have experience with implementing data management practices in complex organizations.
• You have experience in stakeholder management and facilitating workshops.
• You are familiar with Agile ways of working.
• You have knowledge of data disciplines such as Data Governance, Data Quality, MDM, Metadata Management and Data Privacy.

• Salary between €4.588 and €6.498 (scale 11) gross per month at 37 hours per week. But 32 hours is possible too!
• Hybrid working is encouraged and you'll have flexible working hours. Employees who work from home more than two days a week get an allowance of €45 net per month.
• 8% vacation pay and 25 vacation days on a full-time contract.
• Travel allowance for commuting from 6 km each way up to a maximum of 70 km each way, or an NS Business Card for business travel and commuting.
