Job description
Apps Integration provide essential technical development and support functions to internal and external stakeholders in the ever-increasing world of Apps.
As an Apps Integration Engineer, you will support the creation, deployment, support and troubleshooting of web-based streaming applications. You will work closely with engineers, product teams, delivery teams and App Developers to improve release quality and accelerate delivery.
What you'll do

Own the end-to-end app integration lifecycle, from early feasibility assessments through to live app updates for millions of customers.

Integrate and support a wide range of partner applications, working with both emerging and established web technologies.

Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve issues across new and existing apps, providing root-cause analysis and technical recommendations.

Drive app performance and stability by optimising memory, graphics and streaming capabilities while enabling new customer experiences.

Develop test applications, support tools and documentation to help partners build, integrate and support apps more effectively.

Create, package and publish application widgets, while contributing to process and tool improvements that increase efficiency.

Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external partners, including troubleshooting, app deployment, architecture and publishing processes.

Collaborate closely with Product, Apps Delivery and Quality teams to bridge customer and technical requirements, define testing strategies, influence decisions and manage partner support channels.
Requirements

Experience in software development or application integration, ideally within embedded platform environments.

Strong Linux knowledge, including commonly used tools, alongside experience with GitHub or other code repositories and version control processes.

Proficiency in a scripting language, specifically Python or Shell, with an understanding of CI/CD pipelines and associated tooling.

Experience working with multi-threaded and multi-process systems, including memory management, performance optimisation and embedded platform constraints.

Excellent problem-solving, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to analyse issues methodically, multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, with exposure to web technologies, media streaming, and languages such as JavaScript, C++, C or HTML/CSS being advantageous.
