Job description
- We develop and support LDC components within our estate.
- We contribute to the delivery of changes while ensuring quality and stability across releases.
- We investigate and resolve defects and production issues.
- We work closely with Delivery Managers, Delivery Leads, engineers, and service teams to align development with delivery and live service priorities.
- We adhere to established processes, controls, and standards within our legacy environment.
- We actively build knowledge of the LDC platform and its associated technologies.
- We support a business-critical system used for the Self-Assessment regime and wider data capture process.
- We help maintain the stability of live services while delivering ongoing change.

Requirements
- We are looking for a motivated and adaptable developer with a strong core development background and a willingness to learn legacy technologies.
- We require experience or exposure to VB6.
- We require experience or exposure to Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0.
- We require experience or exposure to NuMega DevPartner Studio.
- We require experience or exposure to VB6 ActiveX Components.
- We require experience or exposure to VBA.
- We require experience working with integration and tooling such as SOAP Toolkits, Team Foundation Server (TFS), XML, Edge, and Integrated Single Sign On (ISSO).
- Experience working in controlled, production-critical environments is beneficial.
- We require the ability to work in a fast-paced environment balancing change delivery with live service stability.
- BPSS clearance is required.
- This is a 6-month contract role based in Telford with 2 days on site per week.
