Job description
One of our platinum accounts is currently looking for Cloud Platform Developer to join the team. In this role, you will work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team designing and developing solutions across Azure, AWS, and datacentre/private cloud platforms. Together, you will deliver highly available, automated, and secure solutions-largely using open-source technologies-that provide real value to our customers.
Role responsibilities:
- Working closely with project teams to understand business needs, technical context, and strategic direction.
- Advising customers on modern technologies and best-practice approaches, using automation to create elegant and effective solutions.
- Understanding security policies and thoughtfully implementing solutions that meet security and compliance requirements.
- Designing and implementing solutions that are scalable, resilient, and highly available.
Requirements

Requirements:
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure, including Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible (preferred), Puppet, or Chef.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, React, or Go.
- Experience deploying and managing cloud architectures, particularly within AWS environments.
- Experience with web application services such as NGINX, Apache, or JBoss.
- Knowledge of OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, and RHEL 6/7/8.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as ELK, Nagios, New Relic, DataDog, or Splunk.
- Understanding of modern digital delivery processes and methodologies.
- Familiarity with the Atlassian toolset.
- Working knowledge of databases, schemas, and query languages.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines (for example Jenkins, Terraform, Concourse, or TeamCity).
- Knowledge of source control tools such as Git, Bitbucket, or Subversion.
- An understanding of secure cloud design, including identity, access management, and authentication technologies (such as ADFS, SSL/TLS, OIDC, OAuth2, Keycloak, or Red Hat SSO).
