Job description
- Provide first-level technical support to colleagues on-site across our Herefordshire locations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications
- Assist with user account management and password resets
- Collaborate with second-level support or external vendors for more complex issues
- Document support interactions and solutions in the ticketing system
- Assist with IT inventory management, including audits, updates, schedules, and procurement of upgrade and replacement devices
- Offer guidance and training to colleagues on IT-related topics
- Stay up to date with technology trends and best practices
- Manage our Cyber Essential Plus accreditation

Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar on-site IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and common business applications
- Basic understanding of network concepts
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Commitment to delivering exceptional service to our colleagues
- IT-related certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus
- A driving licence is advantageous
