Job description

You will act as the first point of contact for our customers and installers, providing top-tier remote assistance and conducting regional site visits to ensure our solar inverters and energy storage systems operate flawlessly., Remote Customer Support: Act as the primary technical expert for regional installers and distributors, delivering friendly, efficient support via our technical helpline, email, Zendesk, and WhatsApp.

Technical Troubleshooting: Guide customers step-by-step through basic operations, system settings, and standard troubleshooting procedures for our advanced inverters and battery systems.

Hands-on Site Visits: Travel within your designated region to conduct essential on-site commissioning and resolve complex after-sales issues directly in the field.

Training & Event Support: Empower our network by delivering engaging product and technical training to regional distributors and installers. You will also collaborate with Business Development Managers (BDMs) to represent the company at regional roadshows and industry events.

Ticket Management & Escalation: Proficiently log, track, and manage incoming issues using Zendesk. Promptly document and escalate complex technical cases to our senior engineering team for rapid resolution.

Requirements

Are you passionate about the booming renewable energy sector? We are seeking a highly motivated, customer oriented Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic UK technical team., Experience: Previous experience in a technical support helpline, call center, or similar customer-facing role. (A background as an electrician, or practical hands-on experience installing PV/battery systems is a massive plus!)

Skills: Tech-savvy with proficiency in standard office software (MS Office) and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk).

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.

Mindset: Highly patient, relentlessly customer-focused, and eager to learn new technical concepts in the green energy sector.

Education: No specific degree required - we value practical experience, capability, and passion above all.

Mobility: A valid UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle are strictly required for regional site visits and event travel.
