Job description

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Cisco networking, Windows Server administration, VMware virtualization, Active Directory, Storage Area Networks (SAN), firewall technologies, and enterprise cybersecurity best practices., * Design, implement, and support enterprise network, server, and storage infrastructure.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network and server issues using structured troubleshooting methodologies, including the OSI model.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and support enterprise hardware and software.
  • Support Cisco networking, Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Storage Area Networks (SAN), and firewall technologies.
  • Help maintain a secure infrastructure by following established security standards and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, documentation, and ongoing infrastructure improvements.
  • Provide advanced technical support for network security systems and authentication services.
  • Assist with infrastructure planning, system upgrades, and technology implementation projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and technology vendors to support business operations.
  • Provide technical guidance on smaller projects and assist with mentoring junior team members when needed.

Requirements

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with:
  • Windows Server
  • VMware
  • Cisco networking
  • Storage Area Networks (SAN)
  • Firewall administration
  • Windows Active Directory
  • DNS/DHCP
  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking principles, infrastructure support, and cybersecurity best practices.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience supporting highly available enterprise environments.
  • Experience participating in infrastructure design and implementation projects.

  • CCNA or CCNP
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
  • Microsoft MCSA or MCSE
  • CISSP
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • GIAC Certification
