Data Analyst (Hybrid)

Join us in our mission to use data-driven insights to help people., We are seeking a meticulous and communicative Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. In this role, you will be responsible for documenting dashboards, validating data integrity, developing Power BI visualizations, and collaborating with clients to identify their analytical needs. Your work will transform complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making., * Create and maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for all existing dashboards.

• Draft documentation for newly developed dashboards, including business logic, data sources, and KPI definitions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the intent and usage of each dashboard.
• Query relational databases to validate data accuracy and ensure data reflects what's delivered through the ETL process.
• Work closely with Data Engineers and QA staff to investigate and resolve data discrepancies (no direct ETL configuration required).
• Develop user-friendly and visually compelling dashboards in Power BI based on product requirements or client specifications.
• Apply best practices in data visualization, including the use of appropriate chart types, interactivity, and performance optimization.
• Participate in requirements-gathering sessions with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their data needs.
• Translate client goals into measurable KPIs and meaningful visual insights.
• Provide support and enhancements to existing dashboards based on feedback from end users.
• Ensure all dashboard solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with company data standards.
• Assist with internal QA of dashboards before deployment to production environments.

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases.
• Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX and data modeling.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to document complex data logic and translate technical concepts into plain language.
• Must be able to pass a CJIS background check., * Experience working in a product-driven environment.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline validation.
• Background in business, analytics, or a technical field.
