Test Lead

In this role, as a Lead or Senior Test Engineer you will provide end-to-end testing assurance across large-scale integration programmes. You will define and execute an integrated test strategy, oversee System Integration Testing (SIT) and end-to-end testing, and guide User Acceptance Testing (UAT), with a strong focus on impacts to downstream systems.

You will act as a technically strong Test Lead, bringing experience in complex banking transformations to influence across teams, manage cross-system and cross-stream risks, and ensure alignment across delivery streams. Working closely with banking clients, you will apply their experience in similar environments to drive effective testing outcomes and programme success.

• At least 4+ years experience as Lead or Senior Test Engineer delivering enterprise level testing capability particularly in the finanical sector
• Strong across end-to-end test management - imvolving planning, execution, governance, and reporting
• Solid experience across Automation and Manual testing, using a variety of tools and frameworks
• Full testing lifecycle experience along with in-depth hands on experience with integration, UAT, regression, performance, API testing
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, ALM, and enterprise test management solutions, including environment and defect management
• Comfortable guiding team members through all levels of testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT), End to End testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Ability to work closely with engineers and developers to debug issues and utilising tools such as Splunk, OpenShift or Dynatrace
• Able to conduct code reviews and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Proven ability to identify and manage cross system and cross stream risks, beyond individual application or delivery scope
• Strong influencing and communication skills to bring together downstream system owners and delivery teams
• Strong technical testing background, with the ability to understand and challenge system integrations, data flows, and downstream impacts

Preferred technical skills for the role:

• API testing using NodeJS and rest clients such as Postman and Hopscotch
• Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript, Cucumber, Expresso, Xcode, XCUITest
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• Familar with JIRA and Confluence plus SQL scripting for database validation.
