Job description
Join our team as an experienced Project Schedule Manager supporting the PMO in Columbia, SC. Focus on project scheduling, planning, reporting, governance, and vendor oversight. Take on significant responsibility for monitoring and managing vendor-delivered project work. Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, team leads, vendors, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and manage the project schedule and PMO artifacts.
- Collect schedule updates and apply changes to the master project schedule.
- Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
- Manage schedule development and maintenance for internal projects.
- Oversee vendor schedule activities and ensure adherence to approved processes.
- Ensure vendor follows schedule management best practices.
- Monitor project critical path and key "tasks to watch."
- Produce weekly schedule variance and earned value reports.
- Create and maintain project metrics, reports, risks, issues, and action items.
- Prepare and facilitate project schedule meetings.
- Provide weekly/monthly project reporting and resource forecasts.
- Assist project leads with estimating, scheduling, and resource planning.

2-3 years of project planning, scheduling, reporting, metrics, and resource management.

2-3 years of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) planning experience.

Preferred Skills
- 3-5 years of Microsoft Project Server / Project Web App (PWA) experience.
- 3-5 years of Agile software development experience.

Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field.
- Associate degree acceptable with 10 years of Project Management experience.
- PMP or other Project Management certification preferred.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
