Job description
The Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst supports Supply Chain, Logistics, and Sourcing teams by ensuring critical data is accurate, consistent, and up to date. They serve as the primary resource for maintaining and improving supply chain data, resolving data issues, supporting system enhancements, and providing reporting and analytics that help the organization manage inventory, vendors, pricing, recalls, and cost-saving initiatives. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for master data questions, issues, and analysis. Create, update, and maintain supply chain master data (items, vendors, pricing, etc.) following established policies and procedures. Review and approve data change requests with appropriate business owners and data managers. Work with IT, operational leaders, and vendors to resolve system issues and implement improvements. Develop, run, and maintain operational reports and dashboards; gather feedback for new reporting needs. Monitor data quality, identify inaccuracies, and correct data and process issues. Manage pricing data and contracts to ensure accuracy within systems and purchase orders. Support vendor management, product recalls, inventory management, and supply chain automation initiatives. Provide data analysis and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve supply chain performance. Train users on data management processes and business rules. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvements to data governance, processes, and controls. Partner with Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and IT teams to maintain data integrity across supply chain systems. Continuously improve tools, procedures, and metrics that support high-quality master data.
Requirements
4+ years of experience as a master data analyst in a healthcare environment o Ability to cleanse, analyze and connect data from multiple sources o Understanding of master data management principles and practices in an enterprise environment
- Experience managing product, vendor, pricing and inventory data
- 3+ years of experience in Workday ERP
- 2+ years of experience with Infor Lawson Supply Chain Management
- Bachelors degree
