Job description

Spherion Staffing and Recruiting is seeking motivated individuals to join a dynamic technical support team in Temple, Texas. This position offers the opportunity to be the backbone of daily business operations, ensuring that systems run smoothly and efficiently.

Work Schedule and Training

Initial Training Period: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Post-Training Rotating Schedule:

Week 1: Monday (Work), Tuesday (Work), Wednesday (Off), Thursday (Off), Friday (Work), Saturday (Work), Sunday (Work)

Week 2: Monday (Off), Tuesday (Off), Wednesday (Work), Thursday (Work), Friday (Off), Saturday (Off), Sunday (Off)

(Note: This rotating schedule repeats every two weeks, allowing you to enjoy a three-day weekend every other week.)

Responsibilities: Monitoring and managing system platforms to ensure operational continuity.

Interacting professionally with internal teams, external customers, and distribution center personnel across multiple business units.

Identifying, investigating, and resolving system alerts in a timely manner.

Handling incoming operational phone calls and routing information to the appropriate parties.

Utilizing tracking and communication tools to document system status and updates.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Requirements

Developed multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail.

Basic familiarity with computers and a willingness to learn complex technical platforms.

Experience: 1-4 years

Qualifications: Familiarity with systems and platforms such as Mainframe, AS400, Control-M, Microsoft Teams, professional email etiquette, or Jira.

Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal and external partners.

Prior experience in a customer service, help desk, or technical support environment.

The ability to follow documented procedures and escalate issues when necessary.

Reliability and commitment to working the rotating shift schedule.
