Job description

We are seeking an IT Security Support Analyst to provide both technical support and cybersecurity assistance within a collaborative IT environment. This position supports end users while also helping monitor, document, and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate has experience with Microsoft technologies, help desk operations, and basic cybersecurity tools., * Provide technical support for end users, including hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 issues.

  • Respond to and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner.
  • Monitor security alerts, incidents, and vulnerabilities.
  • Assist with incident documentation, reporting, and remediation efforts.
  • Review security logs and reports to identify potential threats.
  • Perform network monitoring and support security testing activities.
  • Assist with vulnerability management using tools such as Tenable.
  • Support log analysis and monitoring using Splunk.
  • Ensure IT systems comply with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with both the IT Support and Information Security teams on daily operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of IT support and/or information security experience.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server and Windows desktop operating systems.
  • Experience administering or supporting Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with help desk ticketing and incident management systems.
  • Familiarity with security monitoring, vulnerability management, and network security concepts.
  • Experience using Splunk and Tenable.
  • Associate's degree in Information Technology or relevant IT certifications (CompTIA Security+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, etc.)., The physical and mental requirements described in this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
