Intermediate architect

• Lead projects under the direction of the principal and with the support of the team.
• Generate designs and presentations.
• Produce construction drawings and details.
• Ensure compliance of buildings codes and studio standards.
• Manage schedules and coordination of clients, contractors, consultants, city agencies and vendors.
• Execute construction administration including review of shop drawings and submittals.

We are seeking an Architect with 5-7 years experience who is passionate about residential architecture and modern design to join our team in our new Gowanus studio., * 5-7 years experience.

• This is a leadership position- you can take a project from concept through construction, and you are a critical thinker, problem solver, and able to manage multiple projects.
• Experience with NYC residential projects and all phases of architecture
• High level of proficiency with Autocad, Sketchup and Enscape
• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
• Knowledge of NYC building codes, zoning and LPC processes
• Keen interest in detailing and materials
• Currently live in the New York City Area; This is a full-time, in person position.
