Sr. System Engineer

Join our team as a Senior Systems Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing a Linux-based high-performance computing environment. This position is crucial for supporting statistical analysis and economic research across various business lines. Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain Linux-based high-performance computing servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Provide advanced support for the analytics platform, resolving complex technical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical needs into technical solutions.
• Document system configurations and troubleshooting procedures for knowledge sharing.
• Implement security protocols and conduct regular audits to safeguard sensitive data.
• Participate in projects to enhance platform capabilities and contribute to system design.
• Be part of an on-call rotation to support critical issues outside regular hours.

• Proficient in Linux operating systems, shell scripting, and system administration tools.
• Experienced with Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-service mindset.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with high-performance computing technologies like SLURM and OpenOnDemand.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis tools such as R, Python, MatLab, Stata, and SAS.
