Job description
- Support system owners and project managers through cybersecurity approval and compliance processes
- Review technical architectures, deployment methodologies, and network designs
- Interpret cybersecurity and data protection requirements for stakeholders
- Ensure cybersecurity requirements are integrated throughout the system lifecycle
- Develop and maintain security documentation and compliance artifacts
- Assess system risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Provide cybersecurity guidance to engineers and non-technical partners
- Support security reviews, audits, and accreditation activities
Requirements
Required:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 10 years of experience; additional experience may be substituted for a degree
- Experience reviewing, approving, and developing security plans for IT systems
- Experience implementing measures to protect systems against unauthorized access, modification, destruction, or disclosure
- Demonstrated understanding of information systems, system development, network architecture, and cybersecurity principles
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Experience briefing technical and non-technical audiences
Desired:
- Experience supporting system accreditation or authorization processes
- Knowledge of RMF, NIST, and cybersecurity compliance frameworks
- Experience supporting intelligence community customers
- Security certification such as CISSP, GSLC, or equivalent
- Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams
Benefits & conditions
$160,200 to $195,800
This range is for the Virginia area only
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
