We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled IT Manager to lead our technology initiatives and oversee the organization's IT infrastructure. This role will be responsible for maintaining reliable systems that support fuel delivery, accounting, customer management and office operations., * Develop and execute comprehensive IT strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring optimal system performance and security.
- Manage and support: Office computers, printers, mobile devices, network, wifi, internet connectivity, microsoft 365, and basic cloud tools.
- Provide direct technical support to staff and drivers.
- Oversee the management of enterprise infrastructure including servers, networks, virtualization platforms (such as PDI), and cloud services like AWS.
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of network security protocols in compliance with PCI standards and NIST cybersecurity frameworks.
- Manage IT projects utilizing tools ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Supervise system administration tasks across Windows Server environments, Linux systems, SQL databases (including Microsoft SQL Server), Oracle databases, and SAN storage solutions.
- Coordinate disaster recovery plans, business continuity planning, and system backups to safeguard critical data and minimize downtime.
- Support software development initiative.
- Oversee vendor relationships for hardware/software procurement, licensing compliance, and service agreements.
- Provide technical support across help desk operations, desktop support, remote access solutions (VPN), VoIP systems, firewall management,and network infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing complex IT infrastructures 5-10 years preferred.
- Expertise in PDI software a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles aligned with PCI compliance standards; experience implementing network security measures such as firewalls and VPNs.
- Hands-on experience with system administration across Windows.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects using project management tools and excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Technical proficiency in databases including Microsoft SQL a plus.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage cross-functional teams; excellent analysis skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues swiftly.
- Preferred experience with logistics and fuel distribution and ability to work as a one person IT team.
