Job description

AgreeYa is seeking an experienced Lead Data Architect to design, develop, and deliver next-generation cloud-based data warehouse solutions for large-scale enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud data platforms, enterprise data architecture, ETL development, and data governance while providing technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle. This role requires hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines, optimizing enterprise data warehouses, implementing automated testing frameworks, and driving cloud modernization initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect high-performance, secure, and resilient data solutions that support critical business operations., * Architect, develop, and maintain Operational Data Stores (ODS), Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW), data lakes, data marts, and metadata repositories.

  • Design and implement scalable, high-performance ETL pipelines using Informatica Cloud, Azure Data Factory, SQL Packages, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Develop reusable frameworks for ingesting structured and semi-structured data supporting batch and real-time processing.
  • Design logical and physical data models, data flow diagrams, and enterprise data architectures that optimize scalability, resiliency, and performance.
  • Lead data governance initiatives including data lineage, data cataloging, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
  • Develop production-grade ETL code and support enterprise data warehouse applications through performance tuning, incident resolution, and change management.
  • Build and implement intelligent automated testing frameworks, including test strategy, planning, execution, database validation, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and related DevOps tools.
  • Deliver technical proofs of concept (POCs), provide architecture recommendations, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement enterprise data solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor development teams, and promote engineering best practices across enterprise data initiatives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Engineering solutions.
  • 3+ years of technical leadership experience leading enterprise-scale cloud data initiatives.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud data warehouse platforms, preferably AWS Redshift.
  • 3+ years of experience developing ETL solutions using Informatica Cloud, Azure Data Factory, or similar ETL platforms.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Python development experience for data engineering and automation.
  • Strong expertise in OLAP data modeling, logical and physical data modeling, and enterprise data architecture.
  • Extensive experience designing scalable ETL pipelines, batch processing, and real-time data integration.
  • Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Lineage, Data Catalog, Metadata Management, and Data Quality frameworks.
  • Experience with database performance tuning, query optimization, and managing large-scale enterprise data environments.
  • Hands-on experience implementing automated testing frameworks, test strategy, database validation, and quality engineering practices.
  • Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  • Knowledge of enterprise security, governance, and compliance standards including SOC 2 and PCI DSS.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline., * How many years of experience on data architecture ?
