Job description
Operating out of Chino, CA, since 2006, our organization provides critical support to the medical and aerospace sectors. Our 5,000-square-foot shop maintains a team of 15 professionals and utilizes a fleet of 20 CNC machines, with current initiatives focused on modernizing our equipment.
As a Lathe Programmer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of production, including programming, setup, and operation of three lathes equipped with live tooling.
This role operates on a 1st shift schedule, offering both flexible start times and significant overtime opportunities.

Core Duties:
- Develop part programs using MasterCAM software
- Configure and run CNC lathes to produce intricate, short-run components
- Modify existing programs directly at the machine interface
- Verify part quality to guarantee adherence to strict design requirements
- Analyze technical blueprints to determine necessary tolerances, dimensions, and production steps
- Organize and mount the required tooling and work-holding devices
- Conduct routine machine upkeep and resolve technical issues to keep production moving
- Maintain a secure work environment while upholding ISO9001 and AS9100 quality standards
Requirements
- Professional background in CNC programming utilizing MasterCAM
- Proven expertise in the setup and operation of CNC lathe equipment
- Strong proficiency in G and M code programming
- Familiarity with shop safety regulations and standard operating procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration within the team

In compliance with California regulations, the anticipated pay for this role ranges from $28 to $40+ per hour, with final compensation dependent on relevant experience and other legal factors.
