  • Conduct hands-on testing, debugging, performance optimization, and sustainment to ensure application reliability in secure DoD environments.
  • Implement configuration management, access controls, DevSecOps best practices, and documentation processes suitable for regulated federal ecosystems.
  • Provide technical mentorship, platform expertise, and Foundry best-practice guidance to project teams and Navy stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience developing complex applications or data solutions on enterprise platforms.
  • Proven ability to operate independently and deliver end-to-end technical solutions with minimal oversight.
  • Proficiency with Python and associated Foundry development patterns (PySpark, data transformations, automation).
  • Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, platform governance, access control models, and integration patterns, preferably with experience in DoW environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and version control tools (Git-based workflows).
  • Ability to work onsite 2-3 days per week in the Washington DC / Alexandria, VA area.
  • Must have an active Interim Secret Clearance (or higher, such as Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI) to be considered for this role (requires U.S. citizenship)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret or higher security clearance.
  • Prior experience supporting the Department of the Navy or other DoW organizations.
  • 2+ years' experience in Palantir Foundry, developing applications or data products for Navy, USMC, or other defense analytics environments.
  • Knowledge of DoW cybersecurity standards (RMF, STIGs) and secure development practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), DevSecOps pipelines, or hybrid classified/unclassified environments.
  • Multiple platform certifications (Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Power Platform, ServiceNow, Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools used in federal program environments.
